In 1972 the Farmingdale Daycare Center was established by the First United Methodist Church to provide the community with quality childcare for working parents. The Center has remained committed to the original mission of affordable and quality childcare while growing into a nurturing, dynamic, hands-on educational experience for children of all backgrounds. In addition to our academic day, we regularly create and host enrichment opportunities for the children with the focus on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), literacy, music education and physical education experiences.
It is the goal of this Center to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which your child will explore the world around him or her through play building a strong foundation for learning. In keeping our class sizes small, we focus on meeting the individual needs of each student while encouraging appropriate interactions with others.
Our Center incorporates a Christian curriculum into our academic day. It is our mission to instill good moral foundations in our students through scripture and character building.
